We’re now in a new decade full of exciting new opportunities and new entries into our life stories and journeys. When we ushered in this past new year, many people were saying, it’s the “year of change,” and it certainly has been. It is also the year of the “rise of feminine energy”. Can you feel it?
Moms and grandmothers…
Perhaps you’ve been receiving that internal nudge (that quiet little voice) asking you, “Is this all there is to life?”- possibly nudging you to realize that there is so much more! So often we are caught up in the routine of our daily lives: our roles and our responsibilities require all of our energy just trying to get through the day. This can often limit our ability to stop and take an accounting of ourselves. Instead of surviving each day, we have the opportunity to thrive!
Although the role we take on as mother and grandmother is absolutely amazing, we are much more than that. We are growing and evolving beautiful beings and have an amazing capacity to continually explore and expand…and evolve.
I have found in my own life that I am not who I was in my 20’s, 30’s, 40’s or 50’s! I believe I’m the best version of myself now that I’m in my 60’s. I’ve loved (for the most part!) who I was before, but now fully understand the wise saying:
With age, comes wisdom and grace.
We are growing beings and have a beautiful opportunity to continue to grow and develop until the day we die. Here are some characteristics of evolved women and hints to help you on your own journey.
- Feel comfortable in their own skin…they can unapologetically be themselves!
- Understand that pain promotes growth…if you’re open to learning. Life experiences provide valuable lessons. It’s important to note that although we all experience pain in our lives, the amount you suffer is a choice only you can make.
- Don’t feel the need to compete with other women. Evolved women are confident in their own abilities and do not need others to validate their value.
- Love supporting other women! And have the mindset that we are able to grow and evolve together and collectively.
Aging with grace and wisdom is a daily choice, as is your own evolution. As women, we’re given an amazing opportunity to continue to grow and reinvent ourselves until our last day on Earth.
How will you choose to live?
