Who doesn’t love a hug? Here’s how to make one giant hug that you can wrap around yourself, your grandchild, or anyone you care about. After all, love is universal.
Have your grandchild lie on the floor with arms stretched out to either side. Get a roll of toilet paper, or wide ribbon, and measure your grandchild across his/her body from wrist to wrist, and cut paper or ribbon to desired length. Then trace the child’s hands on construction paper, and carefully cut out the ‘traced’ hands. Tape the hands to either end of the toilet paper or ribbon. Voila! You have one big personalized hug.
Make this with your grandchild to give to Mom, Dad, brother, and/or sister for a birthday or anniversary. Or, fold this great big hug and place it in an envelope and send it to a favorite cousin, aunt, or friend.
