Our little loved ones say such fabulous things, like “I want to jump in to the TV and meet Big Bird”. As grandparents, we are always sharing and repeating what the grandchildren are saying, so why not have a journal and record all these enchanting expressions? Parents usually keep a baby book, and may even keep a journal themselves. However, as a grandparent, we hear different sayings and find such delight in what our grandchildren are verbalizing. Go ahead, grab a pencil and a notebook and start your own – it doesn’t even have to be in a formal journal, just something simple. The important point is to savor the language of your grandchildren and create those memories to look back upon and share.
