As we all know, the classic s’mores are prepared outside on the grill or around a campfire, but you can always make s’mores in the oven.*
Graham crackers are usually everyone’s first choice. However, there are other options, such as chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, peanut butter cookies—or even Oreo’s.
Then, for the chocolate: try dark chocolate squares, Skor bars, Carmel Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, Reese’s. Anything chocolate is wondrous.
How to make s’mores in the oven:
-First line a cookie sheet with graham crackers. Buying the packaged square graham crackers makes it easier. You can make one ‘smore or 10 on the same cookie sheet.
-Place marshmallows on one side of the pair of graham crackers and place chocolate on the other graham cracker. You can use either large marshmallows or the mini marshmallows.
–Broil for 1-2 minutes. Keep an eye on them because they broil fast!
-Remove from the oven and match a marshmallow top to a chocolate bottom and create a sandwich. YUM!
