Celebrate your Happy Half Year!

Celebrate your Happy Half Year!

a little inspiration from us here at grandparentslink.com

Yep, that’s right, its Happy Half Year, and, yes, you must celebrate!

We want to know what you are thinking about at this time six months into your 2018, so please, leave us a comment here. We are totally interested!

Did you know that most resolutions made way back six months ago are never really ever challenged, because we as individuals discount our strength and capacity to make changes? But we are here to tell you, that’s not true! Or at least we want to believe its never too late. Don’t beat yourself up over what you didn’t do or accomplish or the outcome. This day, this time — here’s your chance, go for it! We are with you all the way.

No one is perfect; in fact, most of us are far from that imposing word. While there may be a thousand things we might want to change about ourselves, it is illogical to think that we can achieve all of them at the same time. So, prioritize your new year resolutions and make them your half-year resolutions, focus on a few of them, and then work towards them. The more focused you are on your limited goals, the faster you will achieve them, leaving you more confident and motivated to take on other goals.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. Rome wasn’t built in a day and great people have years and years of journeys behind them. It is okay to fail, it is okay to falter. But it is not okay not to try. Definitely make those resolutions, and definitely pledge to stick by them. In the process, if you’re not able to achieve one or two, or any, it is quite alright. There is always next year. Stay positive, do not lose hope, and you will find the will and the confidence within yourself to achieve these goals. Just breathe…
