As grandparents, we have the gift of time and patience on our side. After all, being a grandparent is an adventure to enjoy, embrace and relish. Why not take note of our learning experiences and pass them on to our grandchildren? When we are conversing with them, we have the opportunity to express our views and our interpretations of life. It’s best to break down these experiences into bite-size pieces, as if we, or they, were trying a new food, eating one morsel at a time. Little is better… simple is best…and positive is first. Let your grandchildren see your interest, your passion, and your motivation. As we enhance their lives, they do the same for us. It is invaluable and important to continually educate and refresh our own minds and understand the world our grandchildren live in today.
