So we figure there are brownies and then there are BROWNIES…. You know the ones we are talking about.. totally scrumptious and screaming chocolate, chocolate and well, more chocolate. Leslie Zinberg, (co-founder of GrandparentsLink.com) shares her most cherished recipe for your enjoyment – it’ll be an instant hit and a favorite for all. P.S. Make two batches, we promise there will be none left!
Best Brownies Ever
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Well-grease a 13’ x 9” pan.
In a stove-top double boiler, melt ½ lb (2 sticks of butter) and 3 cubes of
Baker’s unsweetened chocolate.
In a large bowl,
– Combine 1 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, and ½ cup chopped pecans (nuts are optional)
– Pour the melted chocolate into the flour, sugar, and nuts.
– Beat 3 eggs. Add to the mixture. Add 1 tsp vanilla and stir again.
– Mix well by hand for 2-3 minutes.
If you like, add 6-8 oz semi-sweet chocolate bits and stir again.
Pour the mixture into the well-greased pan and cook 30 min at 350 degrees.
