An ad came up on my computer and in less than 10 seconds I had clicked, “Yes,” and sent my credit card number. Now the amount wasn’t much, so what could I lose? A little note here from our test kitchens– we used a lot of imagination once we got started as to what we added for variations in the ice cream. Please do the same. We’ve all been there: someone says, “marshmallow” and then all you can think about is toasting one over an open flame… smooshing it between graham crackers with a mountain of creamy, dreamy chocolate. Summer is the perfect time to treat your grandchildren (and yourself!) to a sweet treat that will always remind them of summer with family. You may have a backyard fire pit, you may have access to a beach to make a bonfire, or you may just use oven/stove top; these tasty s’mores can be made any way you want! Get creative with some add ons… (our grandchildren love to add pretzels!)
Let’s face it, healthy choices aren’t always exciting for kids. Nor Is meal time. A little imagination and a sense of humor are all you need to have fun with food. Check out one of our most popular articles on this topic: Food Art Fun Happy Eating!
